It's school holidays - whoop whoop!

When I was a nanny, school holidays were something to dread, but as a mom I just LOVE them. It is just the best to have Miss Mouse home with us every day. I miss her when she is at school. We started the holidays with a bang - an early 5th birthday party for Miss Mouse and it was AWESOME ! My absolute favourite of all her parties. It was a picnic party in a lovely grassy field near our house, and in the middle of it went into the woods to find the "enchanted tree" which had decorations and sweetie bags hanging from its branches ! The kids just loved it, the weather was superb, and there was only one set of tears the whole afternoon  = 5 star party ! ! !

I don't have any photos, save for the cake one that I took with my phone, as our very clever Aunty Lauren came and did all the photos, so we will have to wait a little while. . .but it will be worth it.

 I also got a bit fed up with Miss Mouse's hair this afternoon, and took my friend's sewing scissors to it. . .but I think it actually looks pretty okay!
