I love to see some colour on my skin (GASP/SHOCK/SUNSCREEN POLICE!!!)
Blue sky is such a mood lifter, when I open the curtains and see it is going to be a beautiful day, my heart just swells. I feel strong and vibrant. Anything is possible...

 We are grabbing the moment and taking the girls camping tomorrow. Yay! Although it meant getting the trailer tent out of hibernation, so my day of basking in the hammock was bamboozled. But Baby Mouse enjoyed herself:

perfect imperfections.

Sometimes it is not the perfect photos that are the best. I had a little impromptu photo session with Baby Mouse today, and of the million, gazillion pictures I snapped, these were the ones that I loved.

Springing Spring!

I love Spring. It is my favourite season. I love the sun streaming through the trees, kissing their branches and slowly waking the shoots. It is a promise of long, lazy summer days ahead. Everywhere the daffodils and tulips are bobbing in the breeze, decorating the verges and hedgerows. Mr. A will be making dandelion coffee this weekend - he has declared himself a hedgerow forager. (will let you know how the taste sensation goes!) Our vegetable patch is also beginning to shoot - our shallots are the first to grow through...*much excitement*.

It is also a time for Baby Mouse to enjoy the sun...

(and don't worry, we are not forcing her to sit in a high chair at this tender age - she was only in it for about two milliseconds, the next photo I took shows how grumbly she was in it! Poor bub!)

well I have a bit of a crush on a JR....Jack Reacher. Okay, so he is only a character in a book but boy he is just so super-cool. (did I just say super-cool?!?!?!?) And I am deep into his latest adventure...

and just to keep my Mom happy, here is another shot of Baby Mouse - three weeks old already!

I am so in love.

I remember when Miss Mouse was born, I spent the first night just staring at her. I was stunned and amazed that I was a parent. That I had some part in creating this beautiful child. And she is perfect in every way.
I am overwhelmed by those feelings again. We have another beautiful baby girl. A miracle. A blessing. I am a mother to another child. It is a huge responsibility, but one which offers so many rewards. I already don't want her to grow, I just want to keep her small forever. My baby, my Du-du.
