I love to see some colour on my skin (GASP/SHOCK/SUNSCREEN POLICE!!!)
Blue sky is such a mood lifter, when I open the curtains and see it is going to be a beautiful day, my heart just swells. I feel strong and vibrant. Anything is possible...

 We are grabbing the moment and taking the girls camping tomorrow. Yay! Although it meant getting the trailer tent out of hibernation, so my day of basking in the hammock was bamboozled. But Baby Mouse enjoyed herself:

Time and again I come back to this quote. Time and again I marvel at the beauty and perfection of my children. Time and again I am thankful they are mine...for now.

so Baby Mouse is exceeding expectations.
I knew she was a bit of a lump to carry but was bowled over when I had her weighed at the clinic this week.
As Mr. A puts it : she is a bowser!
(at least we know she is well covered in this very cold winter!
and I also think that every baby should have chubby thighs - she is the cutest thing when in a state of undress!!)

so here she is today, having some tummy time.
it started of well.
some chuckles and babbles
but by the time Miss Mouse joined her....well they say a picture speaks a thousand words!

Baby Mouse is 8 weeks old!

(and don't worry, we are not forcing her to sit in a high chair at this tender age - she was only in it for about two milliseconds, the next photo I took shows how grumbly she was in it! Poor bub!)

I am so in love.

I remember when Miss Mouse was born, I spent the first night just staring at her. I was stunned and amazed that I was a parent. That I had some part in creating this beautiful child. And she is perfect in every way.
I am overwhelmed by those feelings again. We have another beautiful baby girl. A miracle. A blessing. I am a mother to another child. It is a huge responsibility, but one which offers so many rewards. I already don't want her to grow, I just want to keep her small forever. My baby, my Du-du.
