Today I finally finished all that I needed to in order to send my first Christmas box overseas. I have been so tantalisingly close for days now, but finally it is done. I even roped Mr A. and Mouse into making Christmas cards! As per tradition with my sister, we give each other an ornament for the tree each year. I made hers this year, and when I showed it to Mr A. in triumph, he asked what it was; so feeling a bit deflated, I turned to the one person who is always in my corner, Miss Mouse....she asked if it was an Elf's hat......I am now feeling a bit like a soggy-blown-up-too-many-times-balloon!
I am also on a playgroup committee here, and we are gearing up for our Nativity play - I am so excited - the Martha Stewart in me is raring to go. I do think I will need to check my expectations though as the average age of our playgroupers is about 2....mmmmm.....So much to do! So much to do!
PS Christmas ornament is of course a Christmas tree!
