You know the race I am meant to be doing tomorrow, yet was still waiting for my self-addresses envelope which was included with my entry form to arrive back? The envelope you bought, addressed, stamped and popped into the big race entry envelope and posted for me? You know I kept on asking if you really had put the envelope in? And you assured me you had. And I kept on asking if you had indeed written our address? And you assured me you had. And stamped it? And you assured me you had....
Well Michelle from Teinbridge Trotters has just returned my call, and in regards to whether I should be fretting about running a race I hadn't trained for...or if I was off the hook.....I was told, that yes, I am race number 212, and the reason no info was sent to me was my lovely self-addressed envelope was lacking in stampage!!!!!!!!!!!
She then told me to never send a man to do woman's work.......
What a wise woman she is...
