We took a break from the beach and went to the river instead.
It was fun...all that clambering over rocks.....letting Aimee fall in the water and lose her prescription sunglasses...almost! The girls whinging and whining and crying and giggling and laughing and falling over and getting wet and cold and mastering the rocks in the river and Sophie going under the water and fighting over fishing nets and climbing trees and eating crisps and yack-yacking all the way home when my head was about to split open with the meanest of head-aches

How lovely to have the friends we do.
The only fly in the ointment is I have just finished peeling from last week's sunburn, and yip, I am now sunburned again - no, I didn't learn my lesson the first time apparently.
I am also very sorry to tell you all that you shall be on a Nolicool starvation for the next week....we are going on holiday.....YIPPEE!

with only cold water
and no electricity.
We shall have fresh farm milk
Our own chicken coop
a flushing toilet
and one hot shower.
We shall not sleep well as the Rabbit children refuse to sleep through the night-
...I may have to drug them......am CERTAINLY taking Rescue remedy with me.
We shall not have a TV/internet/mobiles-
....I am taking Scrabble....but will be taking on a journalist and a nurse.
We shall not worry over the small things -
.....we shall just RELAX, commune with nature and let the children run riot.
