By falling down our garden stairs.
My first aid training went out the window.
Blood. argh!
More blood. argh!
Tears....from both of us!!!
I became the proverbial hysterical mom.
I needed my neighbour, the lovely Sue, to tell me what to do.
So off the A&E we went.
We waited......and waited.....and waited
nevermind Scout has blood gushing from her forehead.
We waited.
She slept...I know! never let a head injured child sleep! But it seemed right at the time.
We got called through.
Scout was fine whilst they cleaned and swabbed and glued and steri-stripped.
I felt nauseous, and cried profusely.
Needless to say she is absolutely fine.
Today the sky is blue, it is mild and the sun is shining - spring is coming! My first daffodil has bloomed!!! Gorgeous!!!
My Joy:
Who needs Boden when one can sew one's child a dress? Okay so I am so lame at reading patterns - never done it before, don't know the terminology.
But I think the dress turned out okay and Mouse thinks she looks pretty!
As Gorden Ramsey would say:
DONE!
