My daughter is having not ONE but TWO love affairs! What is a mom to do? You cannot interfere in matters of the heart!
The first is with the moon.......seeing that glowing orb turns her from a fiery, fiesty two year old, into a love sick puppy. Every morning when we go out she looks for him frantically, and alas if the object of her ardor is not to be seen....she sighs a great big sigh, and tells me "Moon Sleeping!"
(the great thing about the English Winter is the moon sets after the sunrise.....Lord knows what is going to happen in summer when the sun rises as 4:30am!!!)
and this one is certainly more worrying!
Meet Robin.
Royal Marine.
Motorbike Owner. (Mr. A Approves).
Lover of weddings and Christmas ( makes him A-Okay in my book).
Happy running buddy for all with short little legs ( that's me ).
Festive cheer drinking buddy for those whose wives do not partake (that's Mr. A)
our only concern is his penchant for dressing up.....
BUT
Miss Scout Mouse ADORES him.......he has to be her favourite "uncle" and she is in the process of adopting him!
My JOy:
I had a really bad run this morning......and I mean REALLY HORRIBLE!! I think my mojo was way off. Anyway, I got home all irritable and cross, which was compounded by my list of chores....dirty kitchen floor, washing pile and ironing MOUNTAIN!!! ARGH!
So took some time out to write on the blog and chill just a little, when I realised I am sitting looking out into the garden and what do I see......blackbirds, a robin, a woodpecker and some wrens all taking full advatage of the seed table ( except the woodpecker - he was going at it hammer and tongs in the tree! ) now that the squirrels have moved into their apartment!
what more could I ask for?
