An update

In our pool in May
In Scotland.
Too tired, in June
Wimbledon Common, July
So much to say! Where to begin!

In less than a month...hopefully...we will have moved to Plymouth in South Devon. We were meant to be in North Devon but got moved, and then were told Adam was going to have to do a tour of duty, so we had some very emotional few weeks before being told Adam was not going anymore....really people...make your mind up!!

So now we are going to Plymouth where Ads starts his new job on the 19th August and we are very excited...but we don't have a house to go to! All the military houses are full and so an agent is trying very hard to find us a privately rented house but those seem very full too! So right now we are sort of holding thumbs and hoping we will all be moving just before Ads starts work but now we are thinking that Scout and I may have to wait up in London for a while. Who knows, we could get a call tomorrow to say come down and check out some houses.!!! Such is the way of the military.

Scout is doing so INCREDIBLY well. She is full of chatter and has lots of words in her vocab. She is still mixing up Mummy and Daddy, so we are either or for the moment! In the last week she has started to string some sentences which is very exciting, and today she did a wee in the potty after weeks after abstaining after our first triumphant flourish! She loves climbing and thinks she is a little monkey - no mountain to high for our little girl. The boys on camp are very fond of her and she joins in their football games, no dolls for Scout!

I am officially a childminder and am looking forward to starting once we have moved to Plymouth. Knowing that I will be home with Scout, helping her grow means so much to us. The thought of not handing her over every day to someone else to care for her really fills my heart with joy!!!

We will keep you updated as we know more!
