Hi All
So this has been a rather busy week. On Wednesday it was my birthday and I was so spoilt by Ads and Scout. Ads got me a 4x4 day out experience, so I cannot wait to get into a big, powerful motor and cause as much damage bundu-bashing as I possibly can! Scout gave my the most up to date digital camera, and I have had lots of fun taking pictures - I think I have beaten Aunty Viv's record of 75 photo's in 3 minutes!! We then just really topped the day off by trading in our annoying Skoda for a fab VW Bora - so I was a very happy girl!! The joy, however, did not last so long. We picked up the car on Thursday and Ads allowed me to get behind the wheel which resulted in a bus of Belgian tourists smacking into our rear.......okay, I am exagerrating, it was more of a nudge but heck, if I knew my rear was so appealing I would've headed over to Belguim ages ago!!!!!!!!!! It resulted in a tiny 2cm scratch but we were quite devastated, and gave Ads plenty of ammunition should I want to drive again!
Yesterday Ads had his op and it was not a very enjoyable day. They wanted to remove 8 teeth in prep for his braces - don't laugh, one day he will have a Hollywood smile! Ads being Ads, he has a double set of Wisdom teeth - that is, 8 instead of 4, so they removed the bottom ones but had difficulty getting the 2 remaining ones from the top, so left them. They also removed his lower premolars to make way for his canines. Needless to say he came back from recovery looking like he had had a very botched lip-plumping collagen procedure! He is in quite a bit of pain - thank goodness for drugs, but is in good spirits. I think it heps that it is the Army vs Navy Rugby game today at Twickenham and he is currently parked on the sofa, watching it on Sky and grunting at the TV - gotta love the boy!
Well, I hope you are all very well.
Lots of Love
Nola, Ads and Scout.
